There is no numbering on the pattern which makes it super difficult to assemble. It just took me like 2 hours to do and I struggled so much that I thought about giving up. I have worked with a lot of patterns before and have never had nearly as much trouble in putting together a pattern.

My season as a new mom has long passed, but I still use 20 minutes here and there, to sew or crochet or spin yarn. It is always surprising how much I am able to accomplish 😊 thank you so much for sharing 😊

This type of dress is also nice under a wrap dress on hot, breezy days.

Hi, I loved making this dress! Could it be that there is the wrong measurement with the printable armhole? When I printed it, it looked really different than in the video (even printing the same size).

I bought this pattern last week and I’m hoping to start on it today! Thank you so much for all the helpful tutorials on your page. I’m going to try and experiment with some plastic safety eyes and a nose. Let’s hope it goes well lol. I really appreciate your calm approach to sewing. Please consider buying linen from where you live rather than getting it from the website she quotes. Linen that has travelled all over the world for growing than an other country for weave etc is not ethical or environementaly sustainable.

Now that I’m in the habit of forcing myself to make a toile before cutting into my best fabrics, my sewing is a lot less daunting. The main thing holding me back these days is lack of space. I used to have a dedicated craft room to myself but as the kids came I moved from a whole room to one half of the guest room, to now utilising just the dining table; which I have to clear for 3 meals a day!

Oh sweetheart- you make me feel so brave with how effortlessly you make such beautiful yet such practical items. Yes I will keep going on with my sewing adventures, and God willing, get better. I am trying to sew a dressing gown as it has been so cold here in Brisbane (Queensland Australia) and receiving a lot of help from some experienced good-hearted women in a Community group. It has more their efforts as I struggle so much to understand how to put together the cut-out pieces. Sewing for me seems to be working from the cut out pieces of the insides of a garnent to the finished completed outside of the garment. And I'll be honest it's hard for me to get my head around that😅😂😊❤. God bless🙏😅

Hi, just wondering if anyone else has had an issue with the sleeves not fitting the bodice? I’ve tried sewing three mock ups of the top to try and figure it out but I can’t get the pieces to fit together correctly. Would appreciate any assistance!
